M E M O R A N D U M TO: Austin Energy Employees FROM: Craig Schaub – Control Engineering SCADA Manager DATE: March 13, 2014 SUBJECT: Retirement of AE Employee – John Bennett John Bennett will retire from Austin Energy (AE) with 18 years of service on March 31, 2014. During John’s tenure with AE, he has accepted many challenges, seen many changes and has contributed exceptional service to Austin Energy. He began his career as a Power Control System Tech I and has held numerous titles including, Power Control Tech II & III, and his years of knowledge regarding the Control System will be difficult to replace. John is always willing to do whatever is required of him to support Austin Energy and our customers, he has provided many years of dedicated service, is a valuable member of our organization and he will be missed. John has made many friends and contacts throughout the utility and I know each of you will want to join me in wishing him well in the future. We certainly want to thank him for the many years of dedicated service to Austin Energy. Our congratulations and best wishes go to John in retirement!!!
