He has had 4 consecutive seconds and with this smaller field should to be able to secure that overdue first win. Very good bet Race 2- This race i like Brookby Prince at a $4.00 quote i think it is well over the odds. He is due a win with very consistent and honest runs, and consistency is what you look for in these non-winners trot races. Race 3- Medley Mooses fresh up run was huge and you would imagine that the horse would improve out of sight for this next run. And even from the wide draw i believe this is the horse they all have to beat. Should be able to lob into the running line from the draw and get a drag into the race which would suit the horse perfectly. Race 4- I have gone with a very brave tip here in Sunbird Bella. This horse has the ability to beat this field with ease. Just needs to sort out the start, if he comes off in a trot then he should be incredibly hard to beat. And at a $14.00 quote i dont mind the chances. Just cross your fingers for a good start. Race 5-Mister Mara should prove very hard to beat here. After his arrogant victory fresh up and being beaten as the very short favourite the other week, which i put down to a poor drive, and with David Butcher in the bike everything will be fine and i expect the horse to win easily. Anchor in the pick six if you are having a crack. Race 6-I have gone for another rough result here in the way of youbetteryoubet. This horse has been copped horrible draws his whole career and he has finally got a suitable draw where he can get handy, and at a $17.00 quote i believe it is WELL over priced. Although if you didnt want to back the outsider i think that Going To California is a good bet aswell. Get on this EW! Race 7- This is a very even field with all horses having a decent chance and that is reflected by the bookmakers with the outsider paying $6.00. I do think that moment of truth does have the biggest chance though off the front tape and with his tough second to boizel the other weekend i think he should bowl along out in front and be tough to run down. Race 8- I like the chances of Broke Bad Carolina here, he has changed stable recently and his strong workout performance suggests he is up to run a bold race. Should be able to get handy from his draw and get a nice trip.
