MACROVIEW: More than the Separation of Church and State, the Vatican which is 1000X financial able than the Philippine Government should restore/rebuild the churches with technical expertise from NCCA. Besides, the churches are the properties of the Vatican built for the parishioners. Don’t just think tourism; think people. What the NCCA could do is mobilize the cultural workers and artists to help heal the people/victims. Imagine our Lumad and Moro artists helping Bohol. Turning a catastrophe into an opportunity to unify our peoples and change centuries old mindsets.
