MADRIDBABEL EN LA SEGUNDA MITAD DE SEPTIEMBRE / MADRIDBABEL IN THE SECOND HALF OF SEPTEMBER Queridos amigos: En la segunda quincena de este mes os esperamos en nuestros habituales encuentros internacionales todos los miércoles a partir de las 20:30 y todos los domingos a partir de las 19:00 en el Café Galdós (Los Madrazo 10 – metro Sevilla), que mantiene sus ofertas para MadridBabel de 2 botellas de Heineken por 5€ y 2 combinados por 10€, así como su ampliada carta de comida y canapés gratis para todos. Igualmente, estamos preparando muchas sorpresas que iréis descubriendo poco a poco. Además, tendremos un espectacular Viaje a La Rioja el fin de semana del 28-29, cuyos detalles os adjuntamos abajo. GRAN VIAJE A LA RIOJA (Sábado 28 - Domingo 29 de septiembre de 2013): Vendimia y visita a bodegas únicas; Montaña y espectáculo de la berrea; Gastronomía y alojamiento de lujo; Sorpresas y mucha diversión… ITINERARIO: SABADO 28: MADRID – BODEGAS DINASTIA VIVANCO – BRIONES – SIERRA DE EZCARAY - HARO Saldremos a las 8:30 desde la Glorieta de Atocha (junto al Ministerio de Agricultura) con destino a La Rioja, donde nuestra primera visita serán las interesantísimas bodegas de Dinastía Vivanco, en las que tendremos la ocasión de catar algunos de los mejores vinos de la zona. Posteriormente, nos dirigiremos al bonito pueblo de Briones, donde comeremos, para a continuación trasladarnos a la preciosa Sierra de Ezcaray, en la que los colores otoñales nos servirán de marco para escuchar de la mano de un guía especializado la berrea de los ciervos, que llenan la montaña con su singular espectáculo de sonido. Terminaremos la jornada en Haro, capital del vino riojano, con alojamiento en el impresionante edificio histórico del Convento de los Agustinos, hoy transformado en un excepcional hotel. DOMINGO 29: HARO – CAMPIÑA RIOJANA - MADRID Tras un reponedor desayuno, nos desplazaremos a la campiña riojana, donde en una viña realizaremos una tradicional vendimia en un ambiente marcadamente festivo, disfrutando del paisaje, de sus olores y del trabajo hecho fiesta. Cortaremos la uva, la llevaremos en cestos al lagar y la pisaremos, siguiendo las tres etapas que marcan los cánones. Posteriormente, seremos premiados con una deliciosa comida riojana en un restaurante local. No sin alguna sorpresa más, iniciaremos el retorno a Madrid rematando un espectacular y divertido fin de semana en La Rioja. Gastronomy and Luxury Accommodation; Surprises and a lot of fun… ITINERARY: SAT 28: MADRID - DINASTIA VIVANCO WINERIES – BRIONES – SIERRA DE EZCARAY - HARO Departure at 8:30 from Glorieta de Atocha (next to the Ministry of Agriculture) to La Rioja. Our first visit will be to the very interesting wineries of Dinastía Vivanco, where we will be able to taste some of the best wines of the area. Then, we will go to the nice village of Briones and later we will head the beautiful Sierra de Ezcaray, where the autumn colors will serve as a framework to hear firsthand with an expert guide the Deer ‘Berrea’, which fills the mountain with a singular sound show. We will finish the day in Haro, capital of the Rioja wine, staying for the night at the impressive historical building of the Agustinos Convent, now converted into an exceptional hotel. SUN 29: HARO – RIOJAN COUNTRYSIDE - MADRID After a recuperating breakfast, we will travel towards the Riojan countryside, where we will do a traditional harvest in a festive atmosphere, enjoying the landscape, the smells and the work as a celebration. We will cut the grapes, carry the baskets to the winepress and tread the grapes, following the three stages that the canons set. Then, we will be rewarded with a delicious Riojan lunch in a local restaurant. After some other surprises, we will head back to Madrid rounding off a great weekend in La Rioja.
