MAFIKIZOLO star, Theo Kgosinkwe, took a strain and landed in hospital last week. This because of his busy schedule. Theo was admitted for three days in hospital after he nearly collapsed at his house. Mafikizolo has been nominated for two Channel O awards and since their comeback the group has been busy. Speaking to Sun day Sun, Theo said at first he took it lightly until it escalated. He said when he got home from an event his temperature was rising. “I nearly fainted, thank God I used my couch to balance. I rushed to hospital,” he said. The Khona singer added that doctors told him he was lucky he came sooner. “I missed our Durban performance, but Nhlanhla carried it with diligence and class. I’m better now and ready to do what we do best!” The group is nominated for the Music Black Origin Awards in the UK. They will also represent SA at MTV’s Environmental Media Awards (EMA) in Amsterdam.
