The City of Naga has been adjudged as the Emerging Local Government Unit (LGU)” for its 2014 overall performance in the implementation of the Our Cebu Program, a joint project of the Cebu Provincial Government and the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI), It is implemented through the Naga Akong Garbo program, whose common objective is to make Cebu an ideal place to invest, live, work and do business with.” For its outstanding feat, the City Government of Naga received a plaque of recognition during the awarding ceremony at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall last December 29, 2014. Meanwhile, taxpayers hailed the City Government of Naga for its smooth, systematic and simplified steps that hasten the issuance of business permits at City Hall. Spearheaded by the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), all offices concerned have been processing registration and renewal of permits through the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) since January 5 in one venue: the multi-purpose hall A at the City Hall building. If it is necessary, the BOSS, which usually ends on the 20th of January, may be extended until the last working day of this month to accommodate the business applications of the transacting public.
