MALAGA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Saturday 22nd November 2014: EiA UNOFFICIAL WARNING FOR HIGH WINDS THROUGH TO THIS EVENING!!!.......and........If you go down to the beach today your in for a big surprise.........If you go down to the beach today youd better be bloody wise.........For every wave that ever there was, will gather there for certain because........Todays the day that AEMET have there waaaarrrrrnings!!!.......Yellow ones that is and official for rough offshore seas along the entire coastline from 9am to 9pm today........Oh yes, hang on to your hats........and your sanity because that annoying high winds will be gusting a good one at times today!!!.......And, just to depress you even more, that dark matter that constitutes cloud will be following you where ever you go!!!......My advice, dont try and hide from it or you may annoy it and cause it to rain on you!!!.......As it happens, the risk of rain is merely showers and in view of the high winds the cloud shouldnt have enough time to slow down enough to cause too much precipitation (thats rain mate!!!).......However, we may just get a wee drop of the hard stuff in the night in places and wake tomorrow to a dampish start!!!.......Tomorrow that wind continues to be blustery and that cloud, although thinned a bit, will be watching you again and may, between bouts of sunshine poking through, give you a shower!!!.......For the week ahead from Monday through Thursday that cloud will remain at reasonable levels changing from white to grey to dark matter and back again but, the sun will be popping its head over the top and giving us a cheery wave and a wink......dont watch for the wink though or else youll go blind!!!!.......And then comes FRIDAY.......RUN FOR COVER!!!!.......WEATHER FORECASTERS AND MODERATORS OF THE EiA FIRST!!!......Seriously though, as of this morning little has changed and we retain that very early UNOFFICIAL WARNING FOR HEAVY RAIN FOR FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER!!!......The cause of this probable rain if it happens will be one of those droplet looking Arctic air currents pushing down and through the normal jet stream air currents bringing with it very cold air. So that posting by us yesterday about what to pack in your car.......dont take too long to do it!!!......especially if your one of those inlandia or mountain goat types that likes the reclusive areas to live!!!......And, being that Friday remains on track to be orrible, as us cockneys would say, Saturday week is looking to be grim with it and at this time we remain looking to at least the middle of the week after before we see any change for the better!!!......So again, go forth and spread the good word to one and all that we are currently looking to have bad weather towards next weekend and therefore, for their benefit, they should put Facebook to good use and join us good and well informed folk right here on the EiA where they can receive and share information in times of an emergency!!!.......and post piccys and chat and be a community and, as we found out yesterday, why, when buying a car here in Spain, you need one with a bloody large boot!!!.......and, whilst on that very subject, I had a PM from a member of the EiA yesterday who had grave concerns about the amount of equipment she should be carrying in her car in times of a threat from snow!!!.....when asked what type of car she had the reply was A Smart Car!!!......I advised her that her best bet was to fit one of those aerodynamic roof boxes. She then replied wondering whether such a device would still be big enough to fit all the required equipment in!!!......To which I advised her that the roof box was not for the equipment.....the lid makes for a great sled and she would be able to put the car in it and pull it home!!!.......Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!! :o
