MALAGA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Tuesday 2nd September 2014: Happy birthday to us......Weve been here 1 month.......Weve got lots of members.........Aaaaaaannnnndddddd we dont have no fuss!!! Hi folks. Today the EiA is 1 month young and we should clear 1600 members by the end of the day today.......not bad going is that. The more the safetier!!!......if you get my meaning???..........Yet another very hot day today and the main graphic is the yellow and even orange warnings for high temperatures across the country today as issued by AEMET, the Spanish National Weather Service.......And I mean all the warnings......Not one is for any other weather related incident. They are all heat warnings including those up in the north of the country!!!......Because we are used to the heat and already deep fried here in Malaga there is no warnings raised for the Province but theres enough around us so you just know you will swelter today!!!.....And on that subject, inland areas are pretty much going to be the norm up in the mid 30s but the coast is going to feel that heat as we possibly see temperatures rise into the upper 30s.....So needless to say, its going to be sunny and its possible that foggy cloud could show itself this morning along the coast!!!......For the rest of the week that sun continues as does the heat but the humidity should come down as that wind direction changes overnight tonight!!!........The coming weekend is now looking mighty fine and come Sunday night we are expecting to see change at this time as that weather moves in!!!.......If you want rain keep your fingers, and come to that, everything else crossed and that rain might just make it into Malaga Province and give us all a nice soaking!!!......However, theres another system behind the first one so we have a great chance of seeing our first good rainfall next week!!!......But I am sure this winter will be a wet one as all the Anomaly forecasts for months ahead do appear to be giving us higher than normal rainfall so it will be interesting to see if it materialises as per the computer generated forecasts!!!......Thats your weather so onto another subject that may be of interest to you members!!!.....Before we go into whats coming next I must stress that we do not allow advertising in this group. However, there comes a time when we have to bend that rule for good reason and today we have good reason.......FIRST AID COURSES!!!.......We have touched a couple of times on subjects that has mentioned First Aid but rightly we have not gone into detail about applying FirstAid as its not appropriate and really cant be covered on a Facebook page. So, when we get somebody giving us their details and clearly have facilities to give the training it is a must that we forward those details to you members......Please see the comments to get the info. Perhaps you and some friends might want to attend or maybe you are a member of a group who would benefit from the training or you might just want to go along yourself. Either way, all of you, and I mean everyone should have a basic understanding of First Aid.....particularly in Spain and particularly if you live inland!!!....Remember, there is no GOLDEN HOUR here. an Ambulance often takes a long time to arrive after that initial call. If you are inland then it is even longer to get help and if thats not enough the attending Ambulance is often just a Lift & Shift with limited medical knowledge so you having a basic First Aid knowledge could be a massive bonus......I stress again that we are bending our advertising rule for this info to go to you all and I further stress that the Training Provider is not associated with any Moderator or indeed myself and that all commission received by me will go towards my next Caribbean Holiday....whoops, WONT go towards my next Caribbean Holiday!!!.....Have a good day and dont over heat but so consider that First Aid training!!!......Jim Fraser for the EiALERT NETWORK :)
