MALAMULELE area qualifies even to be a COUNTRY on its own, let alone to be a Municipality or rather a Province. Here are FACTS to support my statement. 1.Malamulele population is over 700 000 - same as the population of the richest country in Africa (Equatorial Guinea with 757 000 people). 2.Punda Maria gate for Kruger National park tourism. 3.Two big gold mines which are currently closed,which can operate at any given time. 4. A share of Nandoni Dam (which is one of the biggest water supply dam in South Africa). Malamulele is under Vhembe district, the very district that has 4 municipalities, namely Musina with around 60 000 population, Mutale with around 41 000 population and Makhado with around 80 000 population yet those 3 have municipal status but Malamulele are still painfully denied with no apparent reasons given by the Dermacation Board. Hence I still say Malamulele qualifies even to b a country on its own,it qualifies to be a Province as well, it goes beyond OVER qualifies to be a Municipality. Hope that the God of mercy who had mercy to the black South Afrians under the long suffering of apartheid, grant the very mercy to the people of Malamulele,who are living like people in an island in their own country, oppressed by the people they voted, neglected by the leaders whom theyve put in power..!
