The photo was taken at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Pristana in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Shortly after the mother posted it on Facebook, the post went viral and netizens are clearly unhappy about such actions being carried out by the school during this month of Ramadhan. According to Guneswari, students were restricted from going to the canteen as she claims that the school wouldn’t want the area to be dirty. The non-Muslim students were redirected to the bathroom during their break time. Not only that, but throughout the duration of the fasting month, no food will be served in the canteen. As a mother, Guneswari is deeply concerned not only for her child but also the other children as the bathroom is located right next to the toilet area with a strong stench. She added that when they questioned the school authorities, the children were sent to other bathrooms or stores of the school compound. Despite raising her concerns to the school, no actions have been taken seriously
