MALE Native American/First Nations Actors! Looking to find an actor for One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, the role of Chief Bromden. Described big as a house, age range can be anywhere from 25-55. The production is in Florida this August at FreeFall Theater in St. Petersburg. The contract is a standard AEA small theater contract. They pay travel, room and a small salary (something like 350/wk). There are plans to bring the production to Los Angeles after its run in Florida so that may be further incentive to an actor out here. They will fly an actor in for this role from the West Coast or Canada if they cannot find the right man on the East Coast. The Chiefs physical presence and acting ability is critical to the show. He has a few great monologues that break up the reality of the play and is in many ways the narrator of the story. The novel is told entirely from his perspective. PM me for the contact info!
