MAMA PLEASE TELL ME Mama please tell me, What’s the meaning of friends? They’re someone you can depend on, Until the very end. They’ll come and lend a hand, No matter the time of day. A true friend will never leave you, No matter what you say. Mama please tell me, What’s the meaning of love? It’s a feeling you have for someone special, That’s truly hard to give up. It’s someone that you’ll share, Your heart, your hopes, and dreams. The ones that you truly love, You’ll give most anything. Friends and love go hand in hand, For both we cherish on earth. Take neither for granted, Or else you’ll be stranded, And left with nothing of worth. Mama please tell me, What’s the meaning of life? It’s the gift we get from Heaven, That we give thanks for day and night. Life is the greatest test, Given to woman and man. So live your life to the glory of God, And one day He’ll hold your hand. Mama please tell me, What’s the meaning of death? Death is the start of a new life, That begins with our final breath. All the pains and sufferings, Will leave your mortal soul. And then the Holy Spirit, Will come and make you whole. Life and death go hand in hand, For the beginning and ending are clear. We’re born from the womb, Then risen from the tomb, As our loved ones shed a tear.
