MAN...... I DID NOT GET ANY THING :p I have gone through all the pages of website makeinindia.gov.in/ It was like checking the head of a NAMO- Bhakths head. (Main component missing...... :( .....Brain :P ) Only thing I liked are as follows. But for that also no policies, responsibilities and roles are defined. Left open for corruption...? It seems... :( 1) Reduction of commuting needs for the workforce – multiple Central 2) Business Districts (CBDs) and Industrial zones; Integration of land uses encouraging mixed-use; affordable Workers Housing located near the industrial zones. 3) High access mass transit corridors; Encouraging cycling & pedestrian modes. 4) Recycling and reuse of water and solid wastes. 5) Energy sufficiency through use of renewable. 6) Conservation of better agricultural land & protection of sensitive natural environment (Coastal zones, forests, sanctuaries). 7) Integration of existing villages into the new cities. 8) SMART City – IT based real time Control and Governance.
