MANAGER PEOPLE & ORGANISATION Ernst & Young Uganda – Posted by The Uganda Jobs – Kampala, Central Region, Uganda Job Description MANAGER PEOPLE & ORGANISATION UGA00002 (1 Position) Job purpose As Performance Improvement Manager – People & Organization, you’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from partners, directors and senior managers, you’ll identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young. By drawing on your knowledge and experience, you’ll provide innovative commercial insights tor clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership. Duties & responsibilities • Participate in People & Organization engagements • Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders • Participate in business development initiatives • Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff • Demonstrate mastery of key concepts and principles related to organization design, manpower planning and optimization, performance management systems, rewards and recognition frameworks, people capability assessment and development and change management. Show an ability to apply these consistently in engagement settings You’ll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas: • Organization design:-Analyzing strategic intent of the organization, Mapping role accountabilities, Developing organizational structural options, Job design, Job evaluation, Manpower planning • Performance and rewards:- Performance management system and measures design, Balanced scorecaid design and implementation, Compensation strategy and structure design, Long-term and short-term incentive scheme design including • Leadership capability development:- Competency modelling, Assessment and development centers, Individual development planning and monitoring, Succession planning, Coaching and mentoring • Change management:- Change management strategy, Change readiness assessment, Communication plan • Human resource strategy, Visioning, HR scorecard,HR outsourcing, HR service delivery • Human resource transformation, HR diagnostic and audit, HR policies and processes design, Driving employee engagement • HR transaction advice, HR pre-merger due diligence,HR post-merger integration • Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization Qualifications and Experience • A Masters degree holder in HR or related field with a post graduate qualification in HR (eg Post graduate Diploma), A member of HR professional body is an added advantage. • A Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR professional services and knowledge and experience in HR Consulting How to Apply If you believe you are a high performer and have the skills and qualifications outlined above, kindly submit your application, CV and relevant testimonials in support of your academic qualifications online: Go to ey/careers 1.
