MAPIM AND ROHIGYA WORKS: MAPIM : Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organization has been committed for the cause of Rohingya from the day one. This organization never sleep in her struggle as it has been seen delivering almost all the promises made.There are however quarters in the country, region and beyond who either misjudge or are misinformed about the dedication of this formidable and humble organization in the region. Some easily buy cheap and doubtful stories about so-called MAPIMs commitments in her endeavor for the noble and humanitarian course for Ummah and the Head Quarters in Kampung Baru was officially named Baitul Ummah on the 6th June 2013 with a view to reflect the resolute for the man kind. Not only many international NGOs are sometimes skeptic about this accountable and committed organization but also some Rohingya individuals and naive but arrogant people from near and far alike are all out to downplay the hard and commendable works accomplished by it in Arakan and also in Malaysia. The recently carried out circumcition program fro 30 Rohingya boys in Kedah itself speaks for itself to all of us. Is there any other such organization ,to date, displaying such work as done by MAPIM?...Definitely not yet but there are people who move around with slogans to many works for the Rohingya only to be seen parallel with MAPIM and in this pretense try to have a free ride on the available MPIMs sincerity and hospitality while cutting the three-branch they sit on . These kind of people must be , at all cost, kept at bay before more damages done .This trend is seen from the way some home-staying individuals around have been creating a negative image of MAPIM in the eyes of even the invited guests to the Center. As official strategic cooperation partners, it is the responsibility of all partner-organizations like UWRO and Salimah to defend the very legitimate interests of MAPIM and and keep a watchful eyes on the temporary guests at MAPIM, visitors, and etc who must be well-guided and well informed about the actual standing of MAPIM and her official cooperation partners in the region.This will clearly send out a message that MAPIM stands together with the partners for the Ummah, that MAPIM and partners standing and their views must be respected by the outsiders and third parties or the interns or volunteers or those who are trying to approach MAPIM for future cooperation or those who have some peculiar and vague agenda behind in such attempts . Coming Friday will see a demonstration against the genocides and religious insult towards Islam apparently committed in Burma. The keeping of order and discipline is of utmost importance as there may be some people out there to tarnish the good image of the organizers in the eyes of the lenient very considerate authorities.It is the duty of every would- be participant to ensure nothing untoward happen and the preset guide-line of displaying ONLY PRE-DECIDED BANNERS for demo appear in the event then on the 29 Nov 2013. Circumcision proposal and requests from the Rohingya National Welfare Council from various parts of the country were submitted to MAPIM on the 25 Nov and MAPIM did not refuse a single rEuest, Maa Shaa Allah ! It will be however very much in the festive mood and also reasonable if other Myanmar Muslims and Rohingya Organizations in Malaysia, Businessmen and individuals play a proactive role by coming forwards in extending their solid and possible support in this effort not only for the Rohingya boys but also it could be extended for all Muslim boys from Burma for the Khatan/ circumcision ceremony. Well-respected elder U Maung Maung and Dr.Ko Ko Gyi could supervise such activities in collaboration with MAPIM , SALIMAH, UWRO,RSM,ROHINGYA COMMUNITY, BDOHR, ROHINGYA REFUGEES COUNCIL,NUR,MMA-M,BMC,MMYC,ROHINGYA STUDENT ASSOCIATION,RIC, HURAR, ARC,MAJLIS KEBAJIKAN ROHINGYA KEBANGSAAN , UNHCR AND all the rest who .LET US APPOINT DR. KO KO GYI AND U MAUNG MAUNG from Mandalay as advisors and supervisors respectively and Bro. Muhamad Naeem as promoter and Bro. Yeyint Thitsar aka Ko Ye Hla aka Haider and team as coordinators for this much needed circumcision .This combined effort will bring the Rohingyas and Myanmar Muslims closer than now .My point again here is that MAPIM and SALIMAH are only TWO local organizations compared with DOZENS of Burmese Muslim, including Rohingyas,Organizations in Malaysia to look after the social fundamental needs of their own brethren in a foreign bu hospitable land , Malaysia.
