Sunday SE swell 1-2ft most exposed beaches, grading to 1ft or so elsewhere. WIND: W 5 to 10 knots tending light N to NE during the afternoon. Monday SE swell up to 1 - 2ft max most exposed beaches, grading to 1ft or less elsewhere. WIND: W 10 to 15 knots tending light N later. Marine Forecast: Macquarie Coast: Smoky Cape to Seal Rocks Forecast for Saturday 17 August Strong wind warning for Saturday for Macquarie Coastal Waters Winds: Northerly 20 to 30 knots turning west to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas: 2 to 3 metres, decreasing below 2 metres around midday. Swell: Southerly 1 to 1.5 metres, tending northeast to southeasterly up to 1 metre during the morning. Weather: The chance of thunderstorms from the early afternoon. Forecast for Sunday 18 August Winds: West to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots shifting northeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the day then tending northerly 15 to 20 knots during the evening.
