MARK’S CRITICS OVER PROPOSED APA STATE ARE MYOPIC AND ARE SUFFERING FROM INFERIORITY COMPLEX. By Adanu Isaiah(youth activist -08052740254) While dire hard optimist like Senator Mark sees opportunity in every calamity, self styled pessimist like Ameh Comrade Godwin always sees calamity in every opportunity. The above assertion captured best the poor, uncharitable attempt and effort by Ameh Comrade Godwin to portray Mark in bad light in his article entitled creation of Apa State Who is Mark Deceiving?. This does not only show case his stack and smack ignorance but a display of high sense of irresponsibility by a man who prided himself as finest by all standards and with all intent and purposes. Your inability to see very many achievement of Mark as Individual, Military Governor, Minister, Senator and now no. Three (3) Citizen of Nigeria is a clear indication and an eloquent testimony of one doing a hatchet job simply carrying out and acting the script of your pay master. You were blind folded by mere jalousie , inferiority complex and low self esteem hence your turned your blind eye to some personal laudable projects executed by Mark in Idoma land. It will interest you to note that Mark it was who single handedly catapulted relatively unknown Comrade Abba Moro from Okpokwu Local government council to the federal executive council as Minister of Interior and no doubt the Comrade Minister has not only show that he is worthy ally in the development agenda of Mark and has indeed proved his mettle in his current task as member of the kitchen C. of president Goodluck Jonathan’s Administration. The Appointment of Professor Adiukwu Omale and Idoma from the Same Okpokwu as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja out of over 400 people who applied for the position was made possible by Mark. Mark was also instrumental to the appointment of Dr. Mathias Oyigeya a two term Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre Makurdi, Oyigeya again hails from Ogbadibo. Going down memory lane the appointment of the likes of Dr. Obande Ogbe from Ogbadibo as Nigeria Ambassador to Switzaland was also Mark’s handi work. Also in the list are Professor John Idoko D.G National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA ) Abuja, Professor Innocent Achanya Otobo Ujah Director-General the Nigeria Institute of Medical research Yaba Lagos, Professor God O. Akpa the Vice Chancellor Kwararafa University Wukari, Professor Alachi James Atu Manager National Open University Otukpo Study Centre, Dr. Godwin Ochechi Adejo the Chief Medical Director National eye Centre Kaduna,Simon Chuzi Egede esq Executive Secretary National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffick In Person (NAPTIP), Hon. Sam Odeh former Minister of State for Niger Delter, Dr. Jerry Agada former Minister of State for Education and now board Chairman National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) Professor Alechenu Ad’ Obe Obe National Coordinator SERVICOM, Major-General Samuel Owoicho Ameh Chief Consultant General Surgeon/Director of 44 Nigeria Army Reference Hospital Kaduna/ Professor Oluma H. Among Marks’s numerous feats in my honest and sincere view are: • Facilitation of road construction across Idoma land which include Otukpo-Apa-Agatu –Oweto road other are Otukpo-Otukpa-Okpokwu road as well as the ongoing multi- billion naira Oweto bridge linking Idoma (Benue ) to Nasarawa and Abuja. • Constructed and donated a multi- million naira Office Accommodation to the Study Centre of Nation Upon University (NOUN) Otukpo, Benue State having successfully attracted same to Benue State and by extension Idoma Land. • Floated/ Instituted the disbursement of Thirty Five (35) Million Annual bursary scholarship to over three (3) thousand undergraduates beneficiaries in high institutions cutting across the six geo-political zone of the country. • Building an ultra-modern stadium and water dam. Built and donated a modern general Post office • Establishment of a multi-billion naira gulf course at Akpegede in Otukpo Beneu State. • National Political stability as manifested in his postulation of the doctrine of necessity. • Quality leadership and the disappearance of the famous banana peel at the senate. • Cordial working relationship with the executive Governor of Benue State His Excellency Rt. Hon Gabriel Suswam. • His In-depth understanding of the dynamics of National politics and many more. For Ameh Comrade Godwin to gullibly misinform members of Idoma community around the world through his article were he opined that the issue in the creation or better still Apa State was an individual venture floated by Mark, a political gimmick orchestrated to deceived people of Idoma adding that Apa State dream was a wild goose chase which will never see the light of the day describing and mocking our cherished dream State Apa as Lizard oh what a way to down grade a just cause and an ancestral home Apa) The juindiced assumption/analysis of the so call comrade Ameh especially on political trends in Idoma land portrays the writer as unserious, of unsound mind, uncharitable, unrepentant ingrate and insignificant who have joined the leagues of Mark’s critics and cynics and sarcastically describing the well taught out and well funded just concluded National Conference in Abuja as “ National Corn Fresh” Peoples Democratic Party the (PDP) the largest political party in Africa as Papa Deceiving Pickin (pdp). You exaggerated the Agatu /Fulani disturbance and branded Agatu a hithetoe peaceful land as crises ridden what a way to Laugh at the helpless people of the food producing local government of Idoma land and Benue State. The use of Na only u waka come, i de laf oh and Chai de is God oh are simply a childish, kindagaton and a sigh of delinquency and as such should not be taken serious or better still be confined to solitude. The allegation that agitators of power shift to zone C and Apa state creation have gone into hidden is rather ridiculous, untrue and highly misleading as i have personally authored many very article on both apa state and power shift to Idoma in the National dailies, the last one was titled issues in the creation of Apa State published in the Nigeria Pilot of Friday 7th March, 2014. Page 8, others include Benue Politics, The Idoma Questions and the 2015 Permutation as well as Benue the National Head Quarters of political Marginalization etc. So how on earth should the like of Ameh Comrade Godwin engage and enjoy stone throwing while he lives in glass house. The allegation of underperformance and poor representation leveled against Mark by your and your co-hot is baseless, un founded even in the face of daunting and enormous responsibility as well as land mark feat of the Peoples senator. I wish to enjoined all well wishers, Sons and Daughters of Idoma to disregard his claims and allegation describing such as the ranting of an ant.
