MARLENE DIED ON THE SHEFFIELD SHIELD DAY. It was the Sheffield Shield Day once more, exactly a year since Noel Cristmas died. Telephone rang. I answered, hello this is the Stones Corner Clinic said a Social Worker. What can I do for you. Can you tell Shirley That Marlene died in Beret house. They found her dead in her lock up room this morning. I will and said, it is strange you know, Noel himself killed himself jumping in front of a car on the same day. I told Les that and I notified Shirley about it. I told Eric Cox and he said, glad to see her go, she was a damn nuisance. I told Barry Carter when I saw him. Same thing will happen to you I said, you start becoming a pest for coffee, I’ll get the Clinic to lock you up. No he said, I don’t want to be locked up in Berat Centre, I’m regulated, they will never let me go. You better run I said, or you will be locked up. You will die there like Marlene did.
