MARSDEN PILOT BREATHING A SIGH OF RELIEF A 57 year old pilot only received minor injuries after his small plane crashed during an emergency landing in the RM of Manitou Lake yesterday. Around 1:00 emergency services in Neilburg and Marsden responded to this call. The plane was a single occupant glider plane. The pilot, from Marsden, had tried to make an emergency landing on a secondary road and hit a power line in the area of the crash site which was on one of the RM roads. Transportation Safety Board will be handling the investigation. As a result of the crash, power was out in the Manitou Lake area
