Due to continual growth MAS are currently seeking a Scaffold Designer to assume a critical role in assisting our Design, Project and Contract Managers with Scaffold Designs for our current and future projects. This is a permanent full time position based in our Bayswater Head Office. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Prepare CAD drawings detailing scaffold design configuration and equipment quantities in accordance with the specifications and procedures Assist the management team with scaffold material quantity & price estimates and delivery schedules Liaise with the Design Engineer for verification and approval of drawings Maintain a full catalogue of CAD scaffold components Manufacture Drawings in accordance with the Stock Item Master and MAS Templates Ensure Safety Procedures and Safe Systems of Work are implemented in accordance with MAS Policies and Procedures Seek feedback from relevant departments as to the success rate and accuracy of quotes and estimates. To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and attributes; Proven experience working as a Scaffolder within the Mining and Resources industry Sound knowledge and understanding of scaffolding design requirements Working knowledge of AS1576 & AS4576 Computer literate with strong CAD (2D & 3D) and Microsoft Office skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines In return for these skills and attributes MAS will reward you with a market competitive salary package, employee benefits and an opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a dynamic, outcome focused environment.
