MATH QUESTION! Ive enjoyed some success asking my intelligent-above-average friend group questions through Facebook, so instead of Googling and/or trial-and-erroring, heres a stats question (i.e., Bill Seely could answer the shit out of this). Note: this is unrelated to my day job. I have 3 possible values (Low/Medium/High, or L/M/H for simplicity) for series of 4 values (e.g., LLLL or HHHH or LLHH). Order matters (i.e., LLHH is not the same as HHLL). Is my total number of possible arrangements 3^4, 4^3, or something else?
