MATTER IS NEVER DESTROYED WHAT HAPPENS TO THE GASOLINE WE BURN Dear Ms.Hawksworth... if you are suggesting that the tons and tons of Hydro-carbons we pump into the atmosphere, particularly from Manufacturing and Internal-combustion engines, is not changing the constituency of the atmosphere, you have not been figuring. Just what you think happens to the residue from the billions of gallons of fuel which are burned....to accomplish machine actions of all kinds . I see no residue on the ground. It should be yards high by now...if it was accumulating on the earth. Could it be polluting the atmosphere..?. Matter is not destroyed. If it is disturbing the make-up of the atmosphere....could it be for the better...or maybe for the worse?. And, if it is taking so long to show its toxic effects, how long will it take for a recovery when we recognize its toxicity? Those for whom it has made rich will have passed on.... but do not now care about the victims. Some of us care, and I hope you do as well.
