MAURITIUS - AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP TENABLE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR -2014 The Government of Mauritius is offering scholarships for undergraduate studies in public tertiary education institutions in Mauritius to fifty (50) deserving African students in 2014. The Ministry of Education and Skills Development in conjunction with Government of Mauritius therefore invites qualified citizens of Botswana to apply for the scholarship. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OFFERED UNDER THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES: Building and Construction Agriculture Health Engineering/Technical Performing Arts ELIGIBILITY Applicants should • Be citizens of Botswana • Minimum of 46 points (BGCSE or equivalent) • Have school subjects in accordance with the chosen specialty • Be 25 years or below • Have completed Secondary General Education (BGCSE or Equivalent) not more than 3 years prior to this application • Completed BSc Part 1 with a CGPA of 3.5 or better • A-Levels – 3 subjects with a minimum of C DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED • A correctly filled in application form • Certified copy of birth certificate • Certified copy of Omang • Certified copy of school certificate or result slip • Certified copies of the relevant pages of the passport (Validity of passport should be for the duration of the programme applied for) • Mark sheets relating to their qualifications • Their letter of conditional offer by a public tertiary education institution in Mauritius • Original copy of Medical Certificate and test results for HIV/AIDS • An admission letter from registered Tertiary Education Institutions (TEIs) in Mauritius.
