MAVHARIVHARI (Rumours) & INTERNATIONAL UPDATES • Manchester United have joined Manchester City in the race to sign Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna. The France defender, 31, is leaving the Gunners on a free transfer and Louis van Gaal wants him to replace Rafael. • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to sign Toulouses 21-year-old full-back Serge Aurier as a replacement for Sagna. • Swanseas Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony, 25, who scored 16 league goals this season, is also wanted by Arsenal. • Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes the £20m signing of Portos Brazilian midfielder Fernando, 26, will be key to the clubs Champions League challenge next season. Pellegrini also wants Portos French defender Eliaquim Mangala, 23, and could sell Matija Nastasic and Javi Garcia to boost his transfer funds. • Liverpool are considering a move for Bayern Munichs Switzerland midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, 22, as a potential alternative to Southamptons Adam Lallana. • The Reds are set to offer £18m for Barcelonas Chile forward Alexis Sanchez, 25. • West Ham want to sign Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon but Sunderland are also interested in the 27-year-old former England international. • Tottenham are set to make an official approach for Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino this week. • Luis Suarez has signalled his intention to stay at Liverpool by enrolling his four-year-old daughter in a school on Merseyside.
