MAXIMUS UPDATE:August 21st....today marks the one month anniversary of Maximus The Warrior Kitty coming into rescue, our lives, and our hearts. Tonight he went to see Dr. Maclyn McCall (she performed his surgery and has been his #1 doctor through it all) and she decided that it was time...time for the sutures to be removed and time to live life without the need for a bandage around his neck. It is hard to believe how well he has healed and how far he has come in just one month. We still have to watch a couple of open spots, but they should heal in no time. We hope that nobody ends up in the emergency clinic with their pet, but if you do...thank the staff and the doctors....they are amazing...Maximus is proof.
