MB had his official visit to Hulu Langat district on Friday morning. I was moving alongside the VIPs & observing the reporting & conversations. I was very much convinced by our new Chief Ministers proposal in solving the long standing problem of Kg Batu 10 village houses without land titles. The houses were built to relocate those affected during Emergency Era in 1950. After listening to briefing, the new MB preferred to retain the houses as they have been part of the village for more than half a century. They shouldnt be relocated for the construction of road. A new route was proposed to minimize disturbances on the social cultural aspect of village life. I feel this is a wise & humanitarian consideration. Besides, the local authorities should replan & equip the village with descent infra structure & amenities.
