MBCs weekly leading Talent show in the Middle East, Arabs Got Talent, on Saturday hosted the Palestinian Band, Al-Takht Al-Sharqi, which earned the Golden Buzz and left the whole audience in tears. MBC reportage preceeding the performace, showed the struggle of the band to finally reach the programme base in Beirut, Lebranon. Band member said that they had to attempt crossing the Rafah Egyptian checkpoint four times before they were finally allowed in. After that, they had to spend a night at the airport before being finally allowed into Lebanon. The five children were students at The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music (ESNCM) in Gaza. They said that on their way to the conservatory, they watched hundreds of damaged homes and buildings, and that they wanted to rise from the rubble after the deliberate Israeli successive attacks on Gaza, topped by the latest 51-day attack in the Summer. The band said that it made them feel bad to see all the rubble on the way, and still play music. They added that they wanted to show the world that Gaza still has hope and wonderful talents. https://youtube/watch?v=8l_AqyHWxYM
