MBR took in a beautiful Basset yesterday who could barely walk more than a few steps, her was pregnant with babas. Today they took her to the vets ... sadly her was far too ill to be saved, and her and her unborn babas are now on their way to the rainbow bridge *RIP little souls* This was totally avoidable by preventative medicine and NOT using her for continuous breeding when so many Basset Hounds and other breeds are crying out for homes. We continue to support MBR for all they do, especially as the loving Linda Ross was with Sally at the end, so for a few hours at least she was loved and cared for. People need educating, need to know animals are not disposable cash machines ... have needs and basic requirements, and of course love. Our hearts break for Sally, and all other paw souls let down by cruel, heartless humans, but know, there are many kind, loving souls out there prepared always to step forward, do something and save lives too. We support each and every one of you who put their hearts, souls and time into helping animals worldwide, nobody can do everything, but we all can DO SOMETHING. Share a post, tag someone you think can help, spend an hour at a rescue walking the dogs, cleaning out kennels, and above all educate others - never think what you can do does not make a difference, it can and does.
