MCA Battle June Chronology : How Liow Comrades is Weakning Liow Camp ? – Part 2 ( June ) How Liow Win The Battle but Loses The War ? Liow camp is persisting to drag on the issue they launch earlier in May when they still keep on attacking on Datuk Tee Siew Keong appointments by Sultan of Johor and the Matang deal that had already being proven that it is not a move to sell off any assets. According to a Monash University Malaysia’s School of Arts and Social Sciences , Prof James Chin said injecting Matang into Scope was mainly initiated by Dr Chua who felt that there are numerous benefits of being a listed company. However, his attempt failed as many politicians have attempted to gain mileage for the upcoming MCA elections. Both of this issue Liow had won the battle but loses the war. Tee Siew Keong is just 1 individual in MCA and by attacking Tee will not necessary impact Dr Chua . Liow won the battle when Datuk Tee Siew Keong had resign all his position in MCA although he had many times said that it was through Sultan appointment . Even on June 30 New Sunday Times reported that Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar would issue a statement to put an end to the issue. It is learnt that Sultan Ibrahim was concerned with the matter because Tee had accepted his appointment because the ruler had decreed him to do so. Sultan Ibrahim had decreed Tee’s appointment to enable the Chinese community to be represented in the Johor government. This again reflecting Liow camp differences and contradictory stand when earlier some of his comrades and supporters are the one that claim Chinese is needed to be part of the government in a multiracial country. Why Liow loses the war ? Since day one Datuk Tee Siew Keong will not give much impact to Dr Chua and when Datuk Tee Siew Keong resign as MCA Organizing Secretary MCA Presidential Council appointed Datuk Tan Chin Meng from Perak to take over the position. This whole war only given advantages naturally and automatically by Liow for Dr Chua to increase his strength in Perak through Datuk Tan Chin Meng appointment. This is proven when 21 out 24 divisions in Perak came out to support Dr Chua on September 29 to ask Dr Chua to seek for a re election and slam Liow for not being capable enough to be the MCA President. That include Datuk Ong Ka Chuan losing his influence in Tanjung Malim in MCA latest election. This is a clear indication by how Liow is trying to decrease his own comrades strength in Perak. As for the Matang issue , Liow again won the battle but loses the war. Liow won the battle when the decision to add value in Matang issue was objected by the board of directors. This give a cause to all the current Board of Directors to resign and replace with a new director. On June 20 , The Presidential Council meeting today had decided to appoint Sabah MCA chairman and deputy Treasurer-General Datuk Edward Khoo Keok Hai to represent Huaren Holdings at the new Matang Holdings Berhad Board chairman after the resignation of the previous board of directors en masse. Huaren Holdings is owned by MCA.Other board members newly appointed to represent Huaren Holdings in the Matang Board are Segamat division chairman Dato’ Dr Lee Hong Tee, Gelang Patah division chairman Jason Teoh, Kota Tinggi branch chairman Ng Keng Heng and Wanita MCA Pulai deputy chairman Chang Mei Kee. Liow loses the war when such a good position was previously led by a FT Leader ( Tan Chai Ho ) t0 be given to Datuk Edward Khoo Keok Hai in Sabah. It is belief that Datuk Edward is controlling at least 20 out 25 MCA divisions in Sabah. This might be another state of fix deposit in Dr Chua camp naturally and automatically contributed by Liow camp that accidentally politicize a non issue deal into an issue. Is it Liow fault or his team of strategist and comrades for losing such a huge fix deposit state in the MCA War ? Even in Matang issue Liow comrades cannot unite to a simple conclusion. According to Liow it is stripping off MCA assets when it is proven it is not while on the other hand MCA Veteran came out to say this issue will impact on the Chinese Community on June 3 . So is actually an impact to the Chinese community or stripping off assets ? The joke here is how can a business transaction deal can in any way impact the Chinese community ? There no logic in such allegations by MCA veterans. How Liow Comrades is Contradicting Himself ? On June 12 , MCA vice-president Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai said that party president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek must have the courage to admit that he was wrong over the “no-cabinet post” decision, and must call for an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to review. Donald Lim added that it was vital for MCA to take up cabinet posts. Let us recall what Donald Lim himself had told the press earlier in May 6 2013 .Donald Lim suggested that this crucial decision be returned to the party to decide. This is because the decision to not take up government posts had been adopted during an earlier extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and endorsed by MCA’s leadership in 2011.This could be done by convening another EGM to deliberate the matter, said Lim who lost his bid for the Selayang parliamentary seat.Whatever the decision is, we must go back to the EGM. But I will leave it to the president’s wisdom to call the EGM. So what is actually Donald real stand ? How on earth earlier he said it was an EGM decision then later on he put the blame on Dr Chua ? How it is when earlier he told the press that such issue should leave the Party to decide but later on on June 12 he himself decided and suggested that MCA should be included into the cabinet ? How it is when earlier Donald himself saying that in the issue of cabinet position MCA must refer to the EGM and then on June 12 he contradicts himself ? Liow make the contradictions worst when on June 22 he defended Donald Lim suggestion for taking up Cabinet Post . How on earth on 1 side Liow proposes an EGM to sack Datuk Tee Siew Keong and on the other hand he actually supported his own comrades suggestion to take up a cabinet position ? It is very confusing on Liow camp whether they are actually keen to accept government position or against it ? Perhaps they are just being selective and double standard ? How Liow Comrades is Weakening his Team ? On June 20 , Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen has assumed the post of Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) Chairman. Donald Lim end up defending Ng Yen Yen when he told the press on June 22 when he said “She denied she had appointed herself. She clarified that she was recommended to the position by her successor, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, and had received the consent of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. So it Ng Yen Yen is right for accepting a government position which is not recommended by the party then is Donald Lim implying to all the entire Liow comrades who politicize Tee Siew Keong appointment which also not through party recommendations ? That is on why on June 20 former MCA President Datuk Ong Tee Keat said “Based on the same argument, the common question raised is why must Tee Siew Keong be penalised by the MCA disciplinary board for accepting the Johor state executive councillor (exco) post ? However , this contradicts with Wee which is Liow comrades on May 20 Wee Ka Siong said that MCA shouldn’t join Government . The party’s decision on not taking up government posts should be respected by all as it involved the party’s pride and standing in the eyes of the Chinese community.“Those who are clinging on or want to take up government posts should be sacked. Then why Liow camp or Wee did not table a motion to sack Ng Yen Yen ? If Ng Yen Yen is right then for the same reason what makes them thinks Datuk Tee Siew Keong is wrong ? Their stand is very confusing and full of contradictory. Beside Datuk Tee Siew Keong and Ng Yen Yen and if Liow comrades and team is firm with their stand then why Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, who is currently the prime minister’s special envoy to China, the prime minister’s political secretary, Wong Nai Chee, was another example of a party member who had accepted a government post, but was not subjected to criticisms nor sanctions by the party’s leadership ? It is Dr Chua fault ? No. Dr Chua stand had been consistent since day 1 that MCA should only not accepting any position after May 5 and also any position that is recommended by the party. If we remembered what Wee had said on May 20 that since the resolution is still in force, it was felt that they must either reject the position or be sacked from the party. We function as a party, and as it involves the party’s stand, whether we want to or not we have to obey it. If this is the case why he remain silent when Ng Yen Yen , Ong Ka Ting and Wong Nai Chee is taking up some position inside the government ? I thought it was Wee himself who said everybody should obey to the party EGM ? Such a simple issue Liow team cannot even unite to a simple stand and keep contradicting among themselves. Their disunity leads to their inconsistency that leads to a perception that their team is only selectively picking on issue for their own internal political benefits. How Liow Is Contradicting Himself ? On June 20 , Liow step up to defend Donald Lim by saying “The president can voice his views through the party’s internal mechanism instead of going to the media. It is not wrong to defend Donald but it is only wrong when Liow uses the wrong cause to defend Donald. If according to Liow a MCA leader can voice their views through the party internal mechanism and instead of going to the media then why did not defend Dr Chua Soi Lek on the same ground when Donald Lim had 3 times fire up Dr Chua before Dr Chua came out to answer to Donald Lim allegations that he himself contradicts ? If this is Liow benchmark for restricting Dr Chua to talk then why he himself , Donald , Wee , MCA veterans , MCA Save Committee and his supporters speak up to the media instead of using internal party mechanism ? Is Liow again being selective in the benchmark that he set and double standard again ? It is very unfair that other people in MCA is allow to talk to the media while Dr Chua views need to be restricted through internal party mechanism. So what is actually Liow stand ? Speaking to the media or using party internal mechanism to speak up ? Another contradictory - More Plese Click - 1sya/?p=7630
