#MCOP #MCOPinspire MCOP INSPIRE - VOL2 - WITH TUMELO FAITH MANTJIU... 1. Whos Tumelo? Tumelo is a 25 year old from Limpopo, now living in Gauteng with family. Im loud and smile a lot **LOL** 2. What inspires you? Its not what but who, my mum inspires me, she is so strong and her faith is unshaken. She works hard everyday to make sure we are where we are today 3. How did sports impact your life? I feel if I did not play sport I would be in a different space, it changes the way u live your life and helps with the choices you make. 4. Can you regard netball as a profession or any other sport for that matter? In the next 5 to 10 years I see netball becoming a profession like other sports such as soccer or rugby, right know netball is picking up so in time we will be as professional and as paid as other sporting codes 5. What makes you stand out from the rest?? First, I believe Im the chosen one by God of course, I believe that all I have and all I have done is not because I can but thats God plan for me. 6. What has been your achievements to date? I started playing netball in late 2008, have played for Vhembe in 2010, Bojanala in 2012, Gauteng East in 2013 and Gauteng North in 2014 which won the National championships. And I won best center court player. I was also selected in top 30 Protea squad. In the same got selected in top 12 to play Australia when they were here and made Top10 that went to New Zealand to play Fast5. 7. So how would you use your achievements to inspire or encourage other kids to pursue their dreams? When Im called to give a hand I always go, let everyone know it does not have to be netball but anything that they love, if they work hard at it and believe it can happen for them as well. 8. What is the motto that you live by? Its not how many times you fall but how many times you get up 9. What do you do to relax (hobbies)? I used to model but netball took most of my time, so now just go out with my friends or go window shopping Any projects you would like to be involved in, in MCOP? I do not know much about your organisation but would love to be part of what you do because you are all about helping youth and community so would be great. ==========================================================
