ME… A LOVE STORY I am a Love Story come true. I am uniquely conceptualized and fashioned according to the perfect image of the Creator Himself. My loving Heavenly Father delicately writes an amorous portrayal of whom He desires I should be. With passionate vigour and gentle love, He shapes and directs me into becoming His most cherished, purpose-ordained and consecrated child. Epeshians 1:4-5 [MSG]… “Long before He laid down the Earth’s foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His love; to be made whole and holy by His love. Long, long ago He decided to adopt us into His family though Jesus Christ. (what pleasure He took in planning this!)” In my explicit life story, there is a myriad of twists and turns: miraculous, memorable and sometimes shocking occurrences. But, as the proficient Author of my life, my loving Father conceives a diversity of experiences for me to encounter so that I can learn to fully trust in His unselfish intention for my extra-ordinary existence. Jeremiah 29:11-13 [NLT]… “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster; to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me whole-heartedly, you will find me.’” My Father lavishes me with natural abilities, soulful passions and exciting opportunities to fulfill the extravagant purpose that He has designed for me. He trusts in me to diligently do His work and willingly submit to His counsel and power. My Father has created me “for such a time as this.” [Esther 4:14] God is devotedly patient to direct me to feel my life one page at a time during my love story. There are many times when I want to jump to the conclusion to forego the anguish of the moment; many times when I fear the ending; many, many times when I cannot comprehend what is happening. But my Father knows, and He will carefully guide me through each moment because He has designed my life to be an impressive accomplishment. Isaiah 40:28 [MSG]… “Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see and imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch His breath. And He knows everything, inside and out.” He knows the glorious conclusion that awaits me, when He can finally welcome me back home, safely into His arms for all eternity. Therefore, I will go through this remarkable life without restraint because I know and believe that my Heavenly Father has it all planned out and He will always be with me, for I am a Love Story come true. Hebrews 13:14… “For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.”
