ME is feeling pretty good today. She slept good all night. Her O2 was good and her cultures are looking good so far-fingers crossed. Lungs are still crunchy but we are doing breathing treatments and working hard to keep those lungs healthy. Today she gets a chemo that she has to bathe during every 4 hrs!!!For 36 hrs.!!!And change clothes, dressings and sheets. We have to wear gloves to touch her. Oh boy! This will be a challenge!?!Can u even imagine???Just think about what that does to her body!But I will focus on what that is doing to the cancer. Last night ME broke my heart crying to go home. She rarely does this. She rarely complains. I hope this means she is feeling much better and just bored. I know it is difficult being in the hospital during this season. This is a marathon not a race. And the end is in site. I know God has prepared me my whole life for this and I will not ever quit. The prize will be worth it. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 1 Corinthians 9:24 ESV
