MEDIA SHOULD GIVE FUEL DEBATE PROMINENCE Kenyan media houses are so useless seeing that the fuel debate has not captured headlines. On the day when ERC decided to deny Kenyans an early Christmas gift by lowering fuel prices in accordance with global decline in crude prices it is a shame that all media houses could only invite politicians into studios to tackle baseless politics. One would think these journalists cars are fueled by their employers or government. Oil marketers told us that if the Mombasa refinery was closed fuel prices would go down by KShs 10 per litre. When the refinery was closed last year they went mute on their promise. Now the same people are telling us that we are paying high fuel prices because we are importing refined products since we closed the refinery. This is ridiculous.
