MEDITATE ON THIS: 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. [II Cor 4:6-11, KJV]. Paul brings to our remembrance …that though we may THINK we are at the end of our rope, we are NEVER at the END OF HOPE!!! And ……that our perishable bodies are subject to sin & suffering! But through it ALL ………..GOD NEVER ABANDONS US; that ALL of our trials & our tribulations ……are OPPORTUNITIES for CHRIST to DEMONSTRATE HIS POWER & HIS PRESENCE through us. Knowing this DOES NOT mean that YOU won’t ever have to face another storm!!! It just means that YOU will have SOMEONE on board {BEFORE, DURING & AFTER} who is CAPABLE of handling the WINDS & the WAVES; the UPS & the DOWNS; the HIGHS & the LOWS; the GOOD & the BAD; …..THAT SOMEONE IS JESUS CHRIST!!! SO REMEMBER THIS: ……When YOU respond to YOUR problems by TURNING TO HIM, it CREATES a DIRECT THREAT to the enemy’s purposes. The troubles & fears that give YOU REASON TO DRAW NEAR TO GOD ….are the SAME troubles & fears {THAT IF YOU LET THEM} ……..will allow YOU to eventually DEEPEN & STRENGTHEN YOUR WALK WITH THE LORD!!!!!!! {Praying That This Helps ….SOMEBODY}!!
