MEDWAY DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCYJob Title: Technical Surveillance Agent I Department: MEDWAY Drug Enforcement Agency Status: Full-Time Pay Range: $46,550.40 - $52,603.20 Benefits: Health/Life Insurance, Vacation and Sick Leave, Ohio Public Employees Retirement System Posting Date: 07/17/2013 Closing Date: Until Position is filled Brief Description of Duties: Conducts surveillance of Agents and Informants; install and maintain electronic surveillance equipment; train task force members and employees on the proper use of electronic surveillance equipment; prepare reports and other documentation; conduct interviews, review and analyzes information gathered. Minimum Qualifications: Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s license, current certification from the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy. Pass an extensive background check which includes a psychological and polygraph. Training and/or experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic surveillance equipment. Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience. Ability to: Communicate effectively; exercise independent judgment; prepare and maintain accurate documentation; collect, analyze, and interpret date; work under stressful conditions; work irregular hours; maintain confidentiality; gain access to other work areas; develop and maintain working relationships with co-workers, the Agency Director, and the general public.
