MEET OUR STAFF!! Lexi Sirinakis, StarLite Performance Company Director Miss Lexi is a graduate of Slippery Rock Universitys Dept of Dance with a Fine Arts degree and a minor in Public Relations. She has been training in all styles of dance since the age of three in her hometown of Westminster, MD. While at SRU, she performed with the Slippery Rock Dance Theatre Company, with her choreography showcased multiple times in the prestigious Winter Concert. Lexi has worked closely with well known companies including River North Chicago Jazz Company, Doug Varone, Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, Trey McIntyre, Mark Morris, and Chad Hall during their guest residencies at Slippery Rock. She was featured at the Dancewave Festival in Brooklyn, NY as well as in several performances with Pittsburgh companies Continuum Dance Theatre and Attack Theatre. She has trained at the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC, and represented Slippery Rock at the American College Dance Festival in State College, PA. Since moving to Charleston in May 2012, Lexi has continued to teach, perform, and choreograph. She is a company member of The Charleston Dance Project. Lexi is incredibly excited to join the DanceCarolina family to share her passion of dance with the students and continue to grow as an educator and artist!
