Sam has never believed in opportunistic grand posturing in the press for activism and community work he has done over the last decades. He is very unselfish and never involved with self-aggrandizement. Some of his past activities include facilitating the acquisition of permit and refugee status for some Liberians in guinea (Names anonymously withheld for dignity of privacy). He has been a stalwart advocate of justice for all Liberians and has engaged the ecclesiastical benefice on the legal validity and due process of brothers currently accused and incarcerated by the state for subversive activities without incontrovertible state evidence. 3. SENSITIVITY & REVERENCE – He did not misuse or abused the privileges accorded to him as son of a president. One of his greatest trait is his big heart. Very sensitive to plight of downtrodden. He had quietly and effectively participated and paid close attention to human rights, poverty reduction and sustainable development for Liberians and the people of the Eastern Regions including Grand Gedeh. 4. COURAGEOUS -He endangered his life in 2003 by engaging ex-combatants to disarm for violence free society. He has been a unifier who kept in touch with every Grand Gedeans at home and abroad. He has reached out to every Liberian organization in the diaspora for genuine peace and reconciliation. 7. GENUINE RECONCILER- He has engaged everybody and opened to further conciliatory and propitiatory equivocations. He has the fortitude of a lion and heart of a dove! He does not keep malice (abhorrence) against anyone including trespassers (Hon. Prince Johnson). Imagine, SKD Jr has walked with the biggest olive branch in hand and has learned from historys past mistakes. Those who forget the past are damned to repeat it!
