MEET THE STREET DOG WHO’S BEEN SUFFERING WITH A SHOCKING TUMOUR… My name is Neymar and I am an 8 year old boy rescued from the only home I’ve ever known: a lonely street corner in Phuket, Thailand. I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter with something called a TVT tumour. These horrible tumours are very common in tropical climates like Thailand’s and can be easily spread from dog to dog. In my case, I’d been suffering a long time, but when you’re a street dog with no owner, nobody cares. Now that I am at Soi Dog, I have been started on chemotherapy so that hopefully my tumour will go away and I will make a full recovery. I am being looked after by a vet called Dr. Jennifer. She is the first human to ever show me love. It makes me happy. Despite my suffering until now, I am actually one of the lucky street dogs. I am now being helped, thanks to the donations of a special group of Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team. These people live all over the world but they help suffering dogs like me so much. Can YOU join them?
