MEET YOUR WRITERS! Sarah Mooney Social Worker, Volunteer & Blogger for our Aging Population Sarah is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis on cultural diversity. She is dedicated to understanding and promoting wellness for the aging population. In addition to freelance writing, working in the human services field, earning a graduate degree, and completing an internship, Sarah enjoys volunteering at a local senior living facility. While volunteering, Sarah conducts interviews with residents about their lives and creates posts for the facility’s blog. Her posts focus on the important events of each resident’s life, and she is always listening for the valuable advice that can only come from a long, rich life experience. When she is not tending to her various work and school responsibilities, Sarah enjoys hanging out with her fiancé and their cat, Simone.
