MEMBER SHOUTOUT | You may have seen these two lovely ladies training the house down lately! UFC Gym Members Jenny Gillett and Vicky Nicolopolous have decided to embark on the ultimate challenge, stepping into the boxing ring for their very first amateur boxing fight. Both ladies are trained by UFC Gym Coach Jonathan Dooner, who is himself a seasoned fighter and current Australian Masters Super Heavyweight Champion. Jenny and Vicky have competed on the corporate stage as part of Jono’s Black Tie Boxing Corporate Fight Night charity events, with an amateur fight being the biggest challenge either of them have ever taken up. By day Jenny is a 33-year-old Business Analyst and Vicky is a 34-year-old mother of two boys. Both ladies see stepping up for an amateur fight as not only a huge physical challenge, but also as an opportunity to inspire women everywhere, proving the possibilities are endless when you combine passion, energy and commitment. All the best for your final few weeks of training Jenny & Vicky – you’ve certainly put in the hard yards at training and we’re all backing you 100%!
