MEMORIES OF YESTERDAY Wish I was with the Marines! Be careful what you wish for! Ronbo was leading a patrol of Nghia Quan during his second combat tour with the Marines, and wishing that he was with the Navy! Likewise, many people get excited about foreign missionary service until the reality of living and working overseas sets in. When serving with the Marines, I found out quickly that I couldn’t head back to the ship when the bullets started to fly; and when you are serving the Lord in the regions beyond, you can’t pack your bags and take up sailing when the going gets rough! Be sure of your calling and always remain faithful to the task!
