MEMORY TEST HOW GOOD IS YOUR THINKER? TEST YOUR ABILITY TO BE SILLY RIGHT HERE AND NOW! Normally, we take one topic and discuss it. This time, however, we have an open topic ... No holds barred ... Anything goes (as long as its clean and everyone has on their clothes) ... Talk about whatever you want (as long as it pertains in some way, shape, form, or fashion about Washington County) ... Just think about the past and start telling us all about your random memories in Washington County ... Someone start it off ... and ... everyone else can either comment on THAT particular item, or make a comment of your own about something in your life ... As you might have guessed, this ties in with my policy of NOT jumping willy-nilly all over the place from one topic to another all in ONE posting ... I just want to see how wild and far-from-the-original-posting we get ... THAT is the why I keep all other topics to just the ONE topic during our normal use of this forum ... Go ahead ... Someone jump-start this topic which is, in reality, a non-topic as it will be random thoughts. And, as sad as it is, THAT is way most forums operate. There is little discipline, continuity, or theme to any one topic. Everyone just jumps in and makes a comment whether it relates to the topic or not. Then, there are those who jump in to say they really dont have anything to say! ... Really? ... Then, why did you say it? ... Also, there is the non-comment comment, a carry-over from the old texting days when we get --- LOL, or LMBO, and such ... That is NOT forum talk. That is social media texting or email talk ... We hope that our Banana Heads have more than that to say because we KNOW that only intelligent folk become Exalted Grand Banana Heads ... BUT --- for THIS ONE TOPIC ONLY --- we are going to allow a hodgepodge, jump all over the place, random thought, and erratic use of the forum by having everyone just jump in and make whatever comment they wish, related or not, to the very first topic posted ... It is an EXPERIMENT designed to show you all just how confusing and disorganized a forum can get without order ... So, be as outrageous and off-the-wall as you care to be ... This is YOUR opportunity to show us just how wicky-wacky a forum can become when there is no guidance or direction ... Im serious ... Be as incoherent as you care to be ... Talk about whatever you want ... This way, we all get the hoo-hah method of commenting on a forum out of the way once and for all ... After this, we go back to discipline, orderly use of the forum whereby we post ONE topic and make comments ONLY about that ONE topic posted. There may be as many topics posted on this forum as anyone wants. BUT --- each posted topic will remain the topic of THAT post and nothing else. The Great & Powerful Oz shall come out from behind his curtain and ZAP superfluous postings when necessary on the topic postings in the future ... Personally, I think THIS non-topic topic posting will be fun. Let us begin with the Mad Scientist Experiment in Demented Forum Postings .... Okay ... I think I will begin the topic with ... POSSUMS ... As a boy, I loved to see the possums, and other wildlife, all over the farm. I have never forgotten just how they made me feel about life. Wild animals are free, but they dont live very long, unfortunately. Now, years later, Im still seeing possums in my life ... Has anyone ever caught a possum? ... Had a possum come to their backyard at night and eat? ... Had a possum hiss at you? ... Have a mama possum show up on your back deck loaded with baby possums or have a couple of young ones following behind? ... Be standing on your deck, look up and see a possum only a few inches over you head in the tree, looking down at you? ... I have experienced all of this. Its a fun thing and I feed the neighborhood possums frequently on my back deck. There are more out there in your trees and coming up from the storm drains than you might imagine. Raccoons as well .... Now --- Ive begun this totally incoherent and haphazard posting non-topic topic and YOU can either follow the thread I began or just jump in with ANYTHING totally unrelated and start your comments the way most forums operate ... Go ahead ... Share something with us and then the next person, and so forth and so on ....
