MEN OF UCM This is a reminder that MEN of UCM will be meeting tomorrow TUESDAY Oct 7 2014 at 7PM at UCM Headquarters. This week is our STATED MEETING and we have LOTS of Business to do! 1) Brother Mel Bettencourt is collecting new SOCKS for the homeless and we are looking forward to supporting him with the SOCK IT TO ME DRIVE. Please Bring new socks to donate. If you dont have time to get them this week, please remember to bring some at our SPIRITUAL PRACTICE Meeting on October 21, 2014. 2) I will begin the process of making MEMBERSHIP CARDS for everyone by gathering your information for our membership book. We will have the cards ready to pass out on Oct 21. They have to be signed by our secretary, Rev. Tom Garry when he returns. 3) Rev. Quentin Lance Corbinecs Memorial on October 25 at 3PM at Center for Creative Living. The Men of UCM have been asked to participate and assist the service by leading the closing Song - so we will practice for the next two meetings. You can begin to practice at home by listening and singing along to this YouTube Video youtu.be/PGz8SSSM1VE Its a fun song and one of Rev. Lances favorites. Also, The Men of UCM have been asked to assist with the clean up and set up for CCLs Sunday Service. With Brothers Mel, Sean, and Zeke in attendance we should get good direction on what goes where. 4) I have an idea that might work well for our end of the year examination for the CEU Certificate and I want to have a little discussion about it. 5) If we have time, I also want to give you an opportunity to practice the Spiritual Healing technique that was used in the time of Dr. Fitzgerald and what he wrote about in the NEW TEXT OF SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION. It doesnt take long, so we can close our session with practicing on each other. 6) If we have an interested group, we might even have an chance to catch a late dinner together.
