MERINO COMMUNITY FESTIVAL QUICKSHEAR - 30TH November 2013 - The Quickshear will take place from 6pm, at the Merino Recreation Reserve, with shearers able to enter either the Open, Intermediate, Learner’s or Local sections. There is substantial prize money on offer with first in the Open section winning $1000 and first in the Intermediate section winning $500. There will be cash prizes or vouchers for second and third placing’s in all sections. The shearer’s in the Open section will earn points towards the South West Quickshear Championship which includes Casterton, Merino and Coleraine Quickshears.
