MERITS OF PLANTING A TREE Our Prophet (s.a.w.) commended the following: “It is certain that for a Muslim, who planted tree, fruit of the tree becomes a sadaqa (charity) when it is eaten; fruit that stolen from that tree becomes sadaqa for him too; fruit eaten by wild animals becomes sadaqa on that person’s account. The ones that the birds eat are sadaqa too. Fruit that any person eats and reduces become sadaqa for the Muslim who planted.” “Anyone who plants tree, there is no doubt, Allah Almighty grants as many rewards and thawabs as the fruits that tree yields.” It is understood clearly from the numerous holy hadiths in this issue that agriculture and planting tree have a very exceptional value and importance in the religion of Islam. Agriculture and planting tree comes first for the wealth, health, development and prosperity of a country. For this reason, our Prophet (s.a.w.) taught how to plant a tree to his companions attributed such a great importance to this issue and commanded the following: “Whoever has a branch of dates during the day of the judgment and has the strength to plant should not leave it and certainly should plant it before the hour comes.” Some scholars said “The most virtuous way of earnings is agriculture.” by considering the encouragement of our Prophet (s.a.w.) of agriculture and planting tree as branch of it. TEA AND OUR HEALTH Tea, due to its caffeine ingredient, relieves fatigue and provides vigor. Tea dissolves spasm and speeds up digestion. Tea provides relieve by dissolving excrete of nose and throat. Light tea is good for constipation. It relieves headache by decreasing the blood pressure through reducing the body heat and expanding the capillary vessels. Fluorine ingredient of tea prevents tooth cavities while the added sugar in it causes cavities.
