MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR...... as Christians all over the world are celebrating Christmas today, I wish you all Merry Christmas. The gregorian calendar of the year 2014 is also gradually coming to an end, I wish you all Happy New Year 2015 in advance. For us in Nigeria, the year 2015 is a defining year. I pray we witness it in peace, harmony, prosperity, sound health and conduct free, fair, credible and peaceful elections. Let me seize the opportunity of the Christmas to pray and call for mutual love and peaceful co-existence among and between all men and women of faith and goodwill to have peace, mutual tolerance, accommodation, understanding and respect for one another embedded in our hearts, homes, the Nigerian nation and the world. Globally today, inter- and intra- faith relationships have been strained, if not severed in some extreme instances, including in Nigeria and especially in Northern Nigeria. I pray that we all go back to the true teachings of our respective religions which define us as true believers only if and when our neighbours, regardless of their religious, ethnic or regional identities, would feel very safe with us from any harm including harms of our tongue, thoughts, hands and communal relationships.
