MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! As this term as the Frontier 4x4 Club president is coming to a close, I would like to thank all of the club’s members for their trust and support over the last year. It is appreciated. I hope I have done a satisfactory job representing all of you and promoting our hobby. I think it was a good meeting tonight. We had a decent turnout and one new prospective member. Among the more important business we completed was updating the Club’s Bylaws to reflect the new “assumed” business name and the change in the club logo. Both previously approved by the membership. We also corrected a typo and clarified 1 item due to a simple wording error. The corrections/changes will be incorporated into he Bylaws and the revisions will be posted on the M4x4A.org webpage. Due to next month’s normal meeting date falling on New Years Day, the members have changed the schedule for the January meeting to the 8th at our normal time. This is an important meeting as this is when the new Officers will be elected. If you are interested in being President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary or RVP please throw your hat into the ring. The club works best if everyone is engaged and everyone’s ideas are considered so please join in. Most positions require only about ½ hour of work per month outside of the meeting itself with just a little more time per month for the secretary position. A member asked about a 2nd club run for December. The club chose the 14th of December for another club run. Location will be decided by those who show up at Murdochs at 8:30 am. Of course we have the Tree Run on Saturday. We will be going up Galena Gulch to play in the snow we hope is on the Berry’s Meadows Trail. Won’t you join us? Remember this is a pot luck lunch so bring some food, some drink, some snacks…. You get the idea. Hope to see you there!!! Richard
