MESSAGE TO THE GOP - LISTEN CAREFULLY! We are not voting for the mainstream, old line GOP Party hacks. We are not voting for McCain, McConnell, Hatch, Graham, Cochran, business-as-usual old guard. Do not be so arrogant as to think that YOU are the reason we voted Republican. You are not. We voted AGAINST Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the rest of the reckless Left that have taken this country to the edge of disaster. Our hopes are not in your worn out platitudes and slightly right turned emulations of the Democrats. We want REAL change and a return to REAL traditional Republican/Conservative values - and we want action. We want and expect: - Abolition of the Income Tax and the IRS - Implementation of the FAIR tax (or similar consumption tax) - Protection of the privacy of citizens and respect for the 4th Amendment - Return to respect for ALL constitutional provisions and protections - Downsizing of the federal government and federal cabinet - Reining in of excess presidential power and activist courts - Securing of our borders and protection of our nation and its people - Sane, reasonable, and just immigration policies that reinforce our historic American melting pot, not replacing it with a tossed salad of those entering without regard to our laws, language, or culture - Reduction in federal spending, balanced budgets and slashed deficit - Curtailing dangerous expansion of power in federal agencies and limits on regulatory authority - Actions that encourage creation of private sector jobs - Respect for our military and veterans in deeds, not just words - Respect for the 10th Amendment, and return of authority to the states - Term limits for yourselves and your political posterity - Correction of excesses and abuses in the political process THOSE WOULD BE A START. If you return to self-serving, business-as-usual politics, you will be: 1. Ejected from office by the people, 2. Curtailed by Constitutional Amendment (Article V), or 3.
