MG University clearly says B.Voc (Sports Nutrition and Physiotherapy) holders can practise as a PHYSIOTHERAPIST.... I got a reply from MG University as per Right to Information Act. This RTI reply which clearly says that B.Voc holders can practise as a Physiotherapist if law permits.... Dr.Heljesh Karayatt talked with Registrar of MG University and higher official Mr.Muralidharan. They clearly said that at this point of time they cant do anything for us because its already affiliated by university and also informed if we would have approached them before they could have done something for us. Further More B.Voc (Sports Nutrition and Physiotherapy) is a UGC supported course if we want to do something then we should approach UGC... This is why i already requested to you all to send a opposition letter to UGC. Very unfortunately, some of our leaders take it as my personal gain and tag war between other association.... And very importantly thing, I had submitted an RTI application to Kerala Public Service Commission PSC, regarding the clarification for the Educational Qualification required for Applying the Post of Physiotherapist in Govt sector.. They had given the reply which clearly says, the degrees which are approved by Governments Special order, the degrees which are approved by Technical Educational Department of Government and the degrees which are affiliated by the Universities of the state are eligible to apply for the post of Physiotherapist in government sector. Here i am attaching the solid documents... Conclusion: B.Voc (Sports Nutrition and Physiotherapy) is a course approved by MG University... Hence they can Practice as a Physiotherapist in our society and a person who is a B.Voc graduate can apply for the post of Physiotherapist in Government Sector... So Next PHYSIO CONGRESS onwards KAPC can also call B.Voc students to participate Physio congress and raise its fund....!!!
