MGA KABABAYAN, we are proud Filipino-Canadians and every year were doing our very best to showcase and share our Filipino culture to our Canadian brothers and sisters during the celebration of Canada Day. Our Fil-Can community is joining again this years Canada Day Parade in Vancouver. Individuals, community organizations and the Philippine consulate office showcasing our beautiful Philippine culture will represent our parade group. So far we have the Ati-atihan group, Bibak (Igorot group), Sinulog and a float with Pinoy Fiesta theme. Everyone is welcome to join. We encourage individuals to wear Barong, Filipiniana, Philippine inspired attire with something Canadian (Canada flags, pins, hats etc.). This is our way of contributing to the multicultural fabric of our second home, Canada. And our way of saying THANK YOU, CANADA! SO PROUD TO BE FILIPINO-CANADIAN. P.S.
